Como desactivar Java en Internet Explorer

Microsoft nos da los pasos necesarios para desactivar Java en Internet Explorer.

En los últimos días nos han llegado noticias de la vulnerabilidad de Java que permitiría un ataque hacker a través de la última versión, por lo cual todo mundo se ha alineado en contra de Java y han recomendado a los usuarios su desactivación y hasta su desinstalación.

Pero mientras la desactivación de Java en Chrome, Opera y Firefox es de lo más directo y fácil que puede haber, en Internet Explorer la cosa se complica, ya que tenemos que meternos con el registro.

Pero Microsoft ha llegado al rescate y nos da los pasos necesarios para lograrlo, sin dañar ninguna línea de registro, mediante un archivo de texto con extensión .reg que tenemos que ejecutar. Para ello, abrimos el Block de notas y copiamos y pegamos allí lo siguiente:

Cuando hayamos copiado todo, guardamos fijándonos de hacerlo con la extensión .reg, ya que después de guardarlo tendremos que ejecutar este archivo de texto dando doble click en él. Con esto, podemos reiniciar Internet Explorer y ya tendremos a Java desactivado.
